Join your host, actress-turned-entrepreneur-turned artist, Elle Zimmerman to eavesdrop on conversations with brave women who have stepped into their creative life purpose. Stepping into conversations about race can be uncomfortable. “What if I say the wrong thing?” many of us worry.  My guest on this episode of She Made It is Tonya Lovelace, a global intersectional leader with 35 years of experience as a community organizer and movement maker. I expected this conversation to be about her personal journey and her consulting business, but instead, it became something much more needed: a frank, open conversation about racism in America and what we can do to dismantle systems of oppression. And guess what—on this episode, I totally said the wrong thing! This conversation taught me so much that I can’t wait to share with you.
